CAD FIX INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions For Use
- Insert the CAD FIX paste into the interior surface of the un-crystalized restoration.
- Place the restoration on a firing peg.
- Dry CAD FIX paste under an open oven. Do not close the oven.
- Allow the restoration to cool.
- Apply stain and glaze to the restoration as necessary.
- Crystalize the restoration according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Remove the firing peg.
- If any material remains in the crown lightly blast with air to remove.
- Steam to remove the remaining smaller particles from the interior of the crown.
Important Safety Information
- CAD FIX is for laboratory use only. NOT for intraoral use.
- Wear eye protection when using CAD FIX. CAD FIX contains inorganic refractory materials. If allowed to come into contact with skin or eyes these materials may become an irritant. If allowed to come into contact with skin or eyes, flush with water. If irritation persists, see a doctor.
- Avoid breathing CAD FIX after it has been allowed to dry. Particles in CAD FIX may become airborne after it has dried. It is advised to wear protection when interacting with CAD FIX (e.g. When removing from interior of the restoration) to protect your respiratory system.
